The growth history of locks
In the eyes of most people, the value of the lock is very small. Normal household locks are a few yuan cheaper, but expensive are only a few tens of yuan. But from ancient times to the present, there is no family that does not need locks. When people's impression of locks is still "Iron General", domestic lock technology is changing with each passing day, and China has become the world's largest lock producer and consumer. The domestic lock industry has annual sales of more than 40 billion yuan, production capacity of more than 2 billion sets, and annual exports of more than 10 billion yuan. In the future, the lock market will continue to grow at a rapid rate of more than 20% per year. With the trend of global economic integration, China's lock industry has embarked on the road of internationalization and branding.
The development of the lock is a historical witness. In ancient times, intelligent humans had known to wrap their valuables in animal skins, bound them with ropes, and tied special knots at the final opening. The knot can only be pulled apart with a tool called "bone file". Knots and bone files are the prototype of locks and keys. From padlocks, drawer locks, electrical cabinet locks, bicycle locks in the 1950s, to anti-theft locks in the 60s, from ball locks in the 70s, handle locks and motorcycle locks in the 1980s, to ICs and TMs in the 1990s , RF electronic door locks, and even the smart door locks, combination locks, fingerprint locks, and building intercom visual systems that represent today's highest technology. The form and function of the locks have changed dramatically. It is understood that my country has about 1,000 lock production enterprises with annual sales of more than 5 million yuan, and has formed a mature lock-making industry cluster in my country's Zhejiang, Guangdong, Shandong and other places. Wenzhou is known as "China's Locked Capital", while Zhongshan Xiaolan is known as "Southern Locked City". In recent years, with the rapid development of pillar industries such as residential, automotive, mid-to-high-end office buildings and hotels, and the increasing demand for highly preventive lock products by defense, public security, and financial systems, high-end locks have become popular. Various lock-making enterprises have developed IC card electronic door locks, electronic code locks, encrypted magnetic card door locks, intercom anti-theft systems for buildings, valve locks, etc., as well as fingerprint locks. Because high-end locks have high technical content, more prominent humanization and personalization, product profits are also relatively high. Coupled with the accelerated replacement of lock products, high-end locks will gradually become the mainstream of locks. According to industry estimates, the market prospects for high-end locks will be very impressive.
